La Nieve Que Nunca Para
A huge snow storm moved into Columbus today. It started last night actually and it still hasn’t stopped. It began with heavy flakes of snow that covered everything, the cars, the houses, the streets, everything. Then, once everything was covered in snow, the freezing rain came in. It covered the snow that was already on the ground with a fun layer of ice to make sure travel is as dangerous as possible.
It was actually pretty bad. They canceled my Ohio State University classes which happens almost never. It’s kind of strange how tOSU closes so rarely but they’ve closed twice during my stay at tOSU. They closed today and also during my freshman year because of an intense amount of snow. My sister and mother even were allowed to leave work early because it’s only supposed to get worse.
So the rain still falls and it’s supposed to keep going until tomorrow morning. Everything is going to be covered in ice. There’s no point in even shoveling because by getting rid of the snow, the ice is going to cover driveways and sidewalks and everything is getting worse. Oh well, let’s hope for the best.
